In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Unable to select CDN Minifiy hosting CSS/JSDiscovered that you must have Minify set to ‘manual’ in order for it to be uploadable to CDN.

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Unable to select CDN Minifiy hosting CSS/JSAlso, in addition to my primary question above — my root domain can take 3-4 seconds to load (per Pingdom).
Is there a way to shorten the load time of the root directory?
Nevermind — deleted the non-functional plugin and installed a different one that works.

In reply to: Can’t Approve Comments! Please Help!I’m experiencing the same issue. Yesterday, all was fine.
Today, when I receive a pending comment, I do not receive an email notification. My email account is working and I’ve rec’d other emails, just none that I normally receive when comments are left on my blog.
Also, pending comments cannot be approved. When I click on ‘approve’ for a given comment, the status notes that it’s approved. However, when the page is refreshed, it becomes pending once again. If I use the checkbox next to the pending comment and try a bulk action to approve, it takes me to a blank page. Comment remains pending.
I’m using v.2.7.1. I am uncertain of which PHP version I am using (how do I know?) but my hosting provider appears to use 5.2.9, so I assume this is ok.
Unfortunately, I’m traveling due to a family emergency and not able to research this fully. If there are any additional ideas, I would appreciate hearing them.

In reply to: Comments go to 404Thanks for this thread — I have exactly the same issue. Just to confirm, what do you mean by clean install?
I’ve downloaded WP 2.7.1 again and ftp’d the files to my server once again. I don’t see that this has resolved the issue though. I did not overwrite my existing themes (I use Primepress theme). I did overwrite the default and classic themes from WP. When I switch themes, it doesn’t resolve the issue.

In reply to: Permalinks not working on WP 2.6 with Yahoo Hostingjodimfs: It looks like you’ve been successful in establishing redirects from existing posts to new urls using index.php in them. I am also using Yahoo as a host (such a pain) for WP 2.6.
Which redirect plugin are you using? I’ve tried ‘Redirection’ but it doesn’t redirect to pages using index.php. Any info on exactly what you put in the from and to woulds be also be helpful. I’ve tried using an exact url as well as regular expressions and nothing seems to work.
Thanks!

In reply to: Permalink problem after upgradeFor the disable canonical links plugin, is it just a php file that I add to my root file system? You say ‘install’ and I’m uncertain what I need to do since it’s just a file.
I added the file to my root and changed the blog URL. The post urls now look pretty, but when they are clicked they redirect to a URL without the index.php and therefore give a 404.
Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong? You can see this at:
