Thank you for your reply Prashant, but if a ip address has been recorded on our website as 5.104.19.100:80 on the end of it and we want to block the tomcat port as well as the ip, do we leave off the last octet, in order to block the port 80 and all ports coming from the IP?

After reviewing the security settings, I found that by enabling the “Enable Pingback Protection” it blocks the Jetpack from accessing your website (site_inaccessible). If you are using WordPress Security measures then check to make sure that this is unchecked while trying to connect the Jetpack to WordPress.com for updates. Also another important note: If you have multiple domains or subdomains listed under the primary tree of your primary domain and you have this pingback protection on it will effect all subdomains as the master control even if you have the security package installed in the subdomain itself and unchecked.

(Because your primary domain is checked for pingback protection, it will stop all outside pingbacks for all subdomains as well as the directory tree is underneath the protection of the primary domain. So if you are having this problem in a subdomain, check your primary settings on the primary domain as they do effect subdomains as well. Generally I’ve found that most reasons the XML-RPC may be blocked is due to this type of security setting issue or permissions.

The easiest way to correct the issue is to not block that website. You’ll need to open the options menu in ABP and click on Whitelisted Domains Tab. Then list the domain link (https://www.domain.com/ ) of the website that you want to allow the popup to occur. You can even list it by exact page link or permalink of the website you want to use popups with. Copy and paste the link in the domain field and click on “Add Domain” to the right of the field. It will list that link in the list below. This will allow your popups to popup on websites that you want to use them on while blocking other websites that are annoying.

After posting this someone sent me the correct information.
Here is the solution.

On the “Pages” Tab open the “Event List/Archives” section and select the “Display calendar in events page?” radio button “Yes or NO” and click the “Save all” button to save changes.

I also have the same issue on a site at https://judithann.starsofhollywoodnetwork.com/ .
Photos are inserted and named, name of slideshow is saved. When link is copy and pasted into the page, it doesn’t produce slideshow images.

Follow up.

I opened up the comments section so that you don’t have to be registered to comment and it worked. I will try turning the must register feature on again and see if it continues to work.
