Hey @southklad
Thanks for following up!
Our team investigated further and we believe the issue should be resolved now.
When you have a moment could you please try redownloading the plugin and installing the plugin again? We opted for making the change to the plugin directly as opposed to pushing another update.
Please let me know how it goes!
Thanks!

First, we’d like to apologize for the trouble here. Our team has investigated and found the issue is related to the specific SweetAlert library version our plugin references.

I apologize again for the trouble here!

Hey @psybertron,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!
I’m happy to know you’ve been enjoying WPForms so far. I did notice though that you left us 4 stars.
When you have a moment, could you please provide any additional details about what would make WPForms a 5-star plugin for you? I’d love to be able to pass that feedback along to the rest of the team!
Thanks again for the great rating! ??
Hey @andrebell82,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and I apologize about the trouble you ran into with the fields not working!
When you have a moment, do you have any additional feedback about how we could earn that last star from you?
I noticed you mentioned the available fields in the paid version compared to the free version, specifically the Phone and Website/URL fields.
In case it helps to know, you can create similar fields using the Single Line Text field with a custom input mask. We have a great guide that will show you how to do this with some examples here.
Thanks again for leaving your feedback!

Hey @led69,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback!
Our team is aware of the issue with alt attributes. We’re dedicated to improving accessibility in WPForms which is why we are working on making our plugin able to produce ADA/WCAG compliant forms so that our customers have one less thing to worry about.
Beginning in version 1.8.1, WPForms has improved accessibility and we have plans to improve the web accessibility compliance further both on the front end and administrator side. We do try to follow best practices for accessibility in many aspects of our development and design and our team is currently hard at work to get WPForms fully compliant with the need for accessibility.
I apologize again for the trouble here but thank you again for leaving your feedback!
Thanks!

Hey @marares!
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and I’d love the opportunity to earn that last star from you!
WPForms has a ton of free anti-spam features available with all versions of the plugin:
- Google’s free reCAPTCHA service
- hCaptcha
- CloudFlare Turnstile
- Akismet Anti-Spam Protection
- Country restrictions filter
- Keyword restrictions filter
- Block or allow specific email addresses
All of these are included with WPForms to help you prevent spam from being submitted through your forms! If you’d like to read a bit more about each of these options we have a great guide here.
If you have any other questions I’d be happy to help and I hope you have a great day!
Thanks! ??
Hey @jeremybusk
Thanks for dropping your feedback!
It would definitely be helpful to let users purchase a license for longer periods of time to help with cost/budgeting so I’ve passed this along to the team to discuss.
In case it, helps to know though, we do provide a 50% discount on any new license purchased to help users enjoy WPForms at a large discount for the first year.
We also recently released Stripe Payments for All with WPForms 1.8.2 which allows all WPForms users to be able to accept payments using their forms which added a huge value for every WPForms user.
Thanks again for leaving your feedback and if there’s any other way we can earn that last star from your review then I’d be more than happy to keep our conversation going ??
Thanks!
Hi?@wp-marie,
Thanks for leaving your feedback!
At this time, we’re not fully WCAG compliant since it depends on the kind of form that you are planning to create and the fields you’d like to add to this form.
Beginning in version 1.8.1, WPForms has improved accessibility and we have plans to improve the web accessibility compliance further both on the front end and administrator side. We do try to follow best practices for accessibility in many aspects of our development and design. Improving WPForms accessibility is definitely something we’re always working on and so it’s always helpful to receive feedback like this.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!
Thanks!
Hey @hippocoupon,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback!
When you have a moment could you please let us know which other types of fields you expected to see in WPForms?
We’ve done our best to include all the form fields needed for someone to create a large variety of forms even with the free version, WPForms Lite.
In case it helps, you can view a full list of fields included with WPForms Lite in this guide here but I’ve also listed them below:
- Standard Fields?(Available to everyone)
I apologize again for any frustration here but I’d be more than happy to pass along any additional feedback you might have!
Thanks!
Hey @stormhill,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback!
I’ve passed this along to the rest of the team to consider further. If you have any other details about what you’d like to see included with the free version of WPForms then we’d love to hear that feedback as well!
We’re always looking for ways to continue improving WPForms for all of our users.
Thanks!
Hey @abrahamsonf,
Thanks for taking the time to leave you feedback!
Would you mind providing any additional details about which features you were expecting in WPForms Lite?
We’ve done our best to provide all the relevant fields and features someone would need to create a variety of forms, including being able to receive form entries to your email with form notifications.
In case it helps, we also have a great blog post that goes over all the features included with WPForms Lite here.
I apologize again if you felt mislead but we would love the opportunity to clear this confusion up for you.
Thanks!
Hey @niwieder,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and I apologize for any confusion around the features included with WPForms Lite.
We have a few recommended options for spam protection. And these are built into the form builder for quick access (screenshot):
First, we have a built-in anti-spam protection feature which is enabled by default (screenshot). This does not require any additional setup. When enabled in the form, it works in the background to protect your forms against spam. For more details about the anti-spam protection feature, please see our tutorial here.
Additionally, we have other spam prevention options in WPForms:
- Google’s free reCAPTCHA service: This is a very popular option with built-in integration. Our integration includes 3 versions you can choose between: a traditional checkbox, “invisible”, and v3. You can find details on all of these in our tutorial.
- hCaptcha: This is a good option if you’d prefer not to sign up for Google’s reCAPTCHA service. Within your forms, hCaptcha will display a checkbox asking users to prove they’re human (much like Google’s v2 Checkbox reCAPTCHA). We have a detailed guide for setting up hCaptcha here.
- CloudFlare Turnstile: If you are interested in a privacy focussed invisible alternative that automatically chooses non-intrusive browser challenges based on client behavior, this option is for you. Please take a look at the following detailed guide for more details.
- Akismet Anti-Spam Protection: Akismet is one of the top anti-spam protection plugins on www.remarpro.com. If you have this plugin set up on your site, you can easily integrate it into your forms. Please see this guide on how to set up Akismet and enable
it to your forms. - Country restrictions filter: This is an effective option if you’d like to allow or deny form submissions from specific countries. We have a detailed guide for settings this up.
- Keyword restrictions filter: Same as above you can toggle this option to effectively block any form submissions that contain specific keywords. We have a detailed guide for settings this up.
- Block or allow specific email addresses: Using our Allowlist/Denylist feature, you can restrict or allow specific email addresses that can be used to submit your forms. We have a detailed tutorial for setting this up here.
I hope this helps clarify your anti-spam options with WPForms Lite! If there are any other specific features you’d like to see added to WPForms Lite then I’d be happy to pass this feedback along to the team as well.
Thanks!
