OK. I’ve now found an alternative custom registration/login/password recovery solution that appears to work – Pie-Register. And it’s free and includes two choices of captcha. All very good! :0)
You may still wish to investigate the problem with S8 though as some people may be using that and want to use your excellent plugin as well.
