Thanks for your efforts, I have tried ver 0.6 but it unfortunately hasn’t helped the ordering. I even tried creating a new category and re uploading the media. My media is still ordering by date/time

Yes I can confirm I am using version 0.5 of Media Category Library
I have also re installed it and restarted web server.

The plugin came from this URL

Hi,
I am using the following shortcode on a page to display the contents of a category.
[mediacat cats=”Test-category” orderby=”post_title” order=”ASC”]
My issue is the documents are not ordered by post title, rather they are actually ordered by post date/time.
Have I missed something in the shortcode? Or is there something else I should be doing?

[mediacat cats=”myCat” orderby=”post_date” order=”DESC”]

Ok that was a silly question, I was able to create a new category when I uploaded a new document..

New question.. Can I use shortcode to display the contents of the category on a WP page?

Did anyone have an answer to lisa0721 issue?
I am having the same problem with our WP Intranet. I have many PDF forms and policies but have no way of sorting them alphabetically (ascending order)
