In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Plesk Smart UpdateThanks @dinhtungdu – ahhh perhaps there is an IP address of the SmartUpdate server that I can whitelist. Thanks for confirming RSA doesn’t add htacess/rewrite rules.

In reply to: [Restricted Site Access] Plesk Smart UpdateThanks Tung, it’s the cloning of the site that fails (the updates run fine). So that’s why I am speculating that it’s htaccess/rewrite rules from RSA causing the issue.
I’ll have a look at the source code and see if I can work it out if one of your devs can’t give me any pointers.
@mindas22 I am whacking this mole currently also.
I am about to add ‘Fraud Prevention Plugin for WooCommerce’ but also @wigster has written a specific plugin to block this fraudster (which will work as long as the credentials stay the same).
There’s also a big thread on Reddit about it.

In reply to: [LoginPress | wp-login Custom Login Page Customizer] Plesk Smart UpdateThanks @wpzainab – hmmm. I am also unable to generate an XML sitemap also (just generates one page), that’s what led me to think the LoginPress plug-in might be making rewrite rule changes in htaccess.

In reply to: Can’t set password for new usersI just had someone contact me about this issue. In our case, it seems Chrome was (un)helpfully using the existing user’s password and filling it into the field there (as dots). Clicking ‘generate password’ was the simplest fix.
Hi @wfgerald – the error is:
We’ve detected CloudFlare blocking our requests to your site. For help on resolving this issue, see our troubleshooting connection issues article here.
I followed the Cloudflare directions on the WF Troubleshooting page a few weeks ago but it doesn’t seem to help. It is strange that none of the other sites on the same Cloudflare account has this trouble, which makes me think it is something specific on this site: https://wildlifeworldtrade.co.uk
I can’t find any other security plugins that might be stopping it – except perhaps LoginPress – if that uses Cloudflare, that might be the issue do you think?
