I figured this out! Now, I am looking for a code to only make the MOST RECENT post “full length” — I found Eric’s code for full length “feature” posts — but I only want the most recent post on the first page to be full length — any suggestions? thanks!!

Grrrrrr – having the same issue with images — deactivated all plugins, tried different themes. So so frustrated…..

I deactivated and deleted my ultimate no follow and now I can link to text in the editor. HOWEVER I can still not click on an added image to edit the ALT text. I then deactivated all plug ins and reactivated one by one. I STILL cannot edit an image.

Thank you Jeremiah, but everything you said here is foreign so I don’t think I’ll be able to follow your advice…. ??

Thanks so much for your responses. I feel that the developers should not release a faulty product, especially when there are newbies like me who cannot and do not have the time to learn the ins and outs of coding, etc.

Before, all I did was highlight the text and then you click the little chain to insert a link. Now, if I highlight text and click the chain button, nothing happens. nothing. No error, but no way to add a link.

When I click an image I’ve inserted, there is no button to click on the image — I see that now you can use the sides to make it bigger or smaller, but there is no little red x or edit button to add info or an ALT Tag.

I also can’t see my galleries — before they were a big blank box and I’d click on them to see the two buttons in the upper left, but now all the separate pictures are listed. I have no way of knowing how to edit them. I am so so confused ??

What is the visual editor? Is this new. I am so so upset I can’t even do simply writing posts anymore ?? I should NEVER have downloaded 3.9, it is a nightmare ??

Yeah ?? I changed it to slide and it works!! Thanks Tom! I really love how it looks — since I prefer showing full posts it shows my readers more posts! I should have known to try to change more things around, I really appreciate your help, Amy

I deactivated that and two other plug ins that I’m not currently using. It still does not slide either while previewing it or when I put it into the welcome plugin section of the site — it is up now so you can see! Thanks Tom!!

Thanks for responding!! I took it down because it doesn’t move at all, even when you click on the arrows. I made two of them to see if maybe the first one had too many pictures (about 15), but even a 5-picture/post one doesn’t work at all. Thanks for any more advice Tom!!!!
