How easy was that?

Simply made sure I had a SKU for the product (WILD101), then inserted [product sku=”WILD101″] directly into text of page and it came up with the product picture and price… just PERFECT

Did you try under >Appearance>theme options> header
Then in the drop down box choose image logo
And a bit further down, upload your logo image

Actually I am very well today,
I kept playing with the site after I posted my call for help, and I found a (fairly) easy solution!
WHich was:
I installed all of the plugins suggested by Klasik Framework
https://www.klasikthemes.com/codex/wordpress-plugin-used-in-klasik-theme-demo/
and then that added something to my dashboard called “sidebars” which then allowed me to create a new widget, which I used just for the front page. all the others have a different one.
The clues were the pictures on the user documentationpage
