Honestly anything is better than it is now. At least have an seo-friendly slug field that lets people create their own keyword-rich URL.

If I were you, I would actually weigh in very heavily on SEO and make it a point to really get in depth with it. It’d be a huge selling point. Could even offer it as an add-on for the pro version. The friendlier you can make the directories, the better. Google tends not to like having query strings and what not in the URL as much as just straight directories. I know it’s more work – but it would seriously give this plugin an edge.

That – and emphasize responsiveness / mobile compatibility. And make it easier to integrate with themes.

… actually I have about a million ideas for you (that’s what people hire me for) if you ever wanted to chat. I definitely think you’ve got potential with this if you play your cards right. A good non-ecommerce catalog plugin like this is certainly in need!

I need something like this too. I have anchor links on my pages mixed with links to OTHER related pages throughout the site. So I need the ability to not only add menu items to other articles, but also the ability to add anchor links for that page so people can click and jump quickly and directly down to the paragraphs in the content. I need this SO badly I am willing to fork out some cash if necessary to make it happen.

Thank you Erica! I will give it a try for sure! It says it hasn’t been updated for over 2 years though….. but maybe it’ll still be ok since it’s a NextGEN add-on. At least the gallery software is still supported. That may just be good enough!
