In reply to: [Wicked Folders] User specific foldersHi @hnk511,
Currently, folders cannot be assigned or restricted to a specific user. Those are good ideas though and something we’ll consider implementing down the road.
The plugin is back-end only at the moment; however, if you have a use case for how you’d like to use it on the front-end, please let us know and we’ll consider adding it as a feature.

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] No JoyHi @surge42,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Wicked Folders allows you to organize pages, posts, and custom post types using folders; the ability to organize media using folders is a feature of the PRO version of the plugin. Sorry if that wasn’t clear from the description.

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] A good idea, but we need to work out some moreHi @auralis,
That is another good idea and we will likely add bulk actions to the folders page at some point in the future; however, in the meantime, you can accomplish this by following these steps:
- In your WordPress admin, go to Pages > All Pages
- Choose the folder containing the pages that you’d like to change the status for from the folder dropdown and click “Filter”
- Check the box for the pages you want to change (as I’m sure you already know, you can also check the box in the table header to select all pages at once), choose “Edit” from the “Bulk Actions” dropdown and click “Apply”
- Select the desired status from the status dropdown and click “Update”
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] A good idea, but we need to work out some moreHey @auralis,
Just wanted to let you know that we came up for a solution for this. We’ve added a checkbox labeled “Hide assigned items” that shows up when the top folder is activated. When this box is checked, pages that have already been assigned to a folder will no longer show up. This way you can easily see which pages haven’t already been transferred to a folder.
Hope this helps and makes the plugin more useful for you! If so, we’d be eternally grateful if you’d consider bumping up your rating!
Thank you!

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] A good idea, but we need to work out some moreHi @auralis,
Thanks for the feedback! I see what you mean and, while it does hide the pages from the main list when they are initially moved to a subfolder, you’re right, they do show up again when navigating back to “All Folders”.
We decided to handle it that way so that 1) there is always a way to see all pages/items, and 2) so that pages can be placed into multiple folders without needing to edit the page.
I agree with you though that it could be more intuitive and we’ll try to brainstorm some ideas. If you have any thoughts on a good way to handle it, please let us know!

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Moving multiple items into same folder?Hi there,
To move multiple items to a folder at once:
- check the box next to the items you want to move
- hover your mouse in the table header in the space to the left of the column with the checkboxes; a move icon will appear
- click and drag the move icon to move the items to the desired folder
Let us know if you have any other questions!
