In reply to: [Wicked Folders] ExcellentThank you for the review!
Hi @romandas,
I’m closing this issue out for now but, if you’re still having an issue that you believe is on our end, feel free to open it back up.
Hi @romandas,
Thanks for taking the time to put together such detailed notes on the issue you’re having. The
table-layout: fixed
style is something that’s added by WordPress when the table has thefixed
class (which is also something WordPress adds). Our plugin does specify a size for thewicked-move
column but it doesn’t set sizes for the other columns or dynamically size them when the folder pane width is changed.I don’t have access to the AutomateWoo plugin but, from looking at your screenshot, it appears that the plugin is perhaps intending to make the “Run Count” column narrow but is likely targeting the column based on it’s index (i.e. the plugin perhaps adds some CSS to make the 4th column a certain width); however, because Wicked Folders adds a column to the beginning of the table, this causes the 4th column to become the “Workflows Folders” column. You can likely confirm this by clicking “Screen Options” in the upper-right corner and temporarily turning off the “Move to Folder” column.
Assuming this is the case, this is something the AutomateWoo plugin would actually need to correct on their end. You could also add some CSS that fixes it (or continue to use the work-around you’re using now).

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] The wf panel stopped apearingHi @claycooper1,
Just checking in on this. Did you have a chance to try those things?

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] The wf panel stopped apearingHi @claycooper1,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. Just to confirm, is it possible the folder pane was simply toggled off? There should be a folder icon that appears near the bottom of the admin menu on the side when the panel is toggled off that can be used to toggle it back on.
If that’s not the issue, would it be possible for you to open the browser’s developer tools (normally F12), click on the Console tab, refresh the page, and take a screenshot of any errors that appear?

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Works perfectHi @kimguercke,
Thanks for the nice review!
We’ll look into adding a bulk download feature. I’m not quite sure what you have in mind for bulk upload because I think you can already do that? If not and you’d like to provide more details, feel free to reach out to us with more info and I’d be happy to look into it.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Folder Pane not appearing (v3+)Thanks. I didn’t realize what ClassicPress was and just looked into it and now see what the issue is. It appears that ClassicPress doesn’t ship with many of the core scripts that are included in WordPress (which our plugin rely on).
So I’m afraid version 3 and higher of Wicked Folders won’t work with ClassicPress; however, you should be able to continue using an earlier version.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you but unfortunately ClassicPress is too different in this case for the plugin to work.

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Folder Pane not appearing (v3+)Hmmm, normally this issue is caused by a JavaScript error so I’m surprised to hear there isn’t anything in the dev tools. I assume this is happening on the Pages screen? Does it work with other post types (such as Posts)?
Would it be possible to get a screenshot anyways with the console tab just so I can see what you’re seeing?

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Folder Pane not appearing (v3+)Hi @digtek,
Sorry to hear you’re having this issue. Just to confirm, have you tried it with the latest version (3.0.4) of the plugin?
If so, would it be possible for you to open your browser’s developer tools (normally F12), click on the “Console” tab, refresh the page, and take a screenshot of any errors in the Console tab?

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Hierarchy lostHi @wishlight,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble but I’d be happy to help you get this fixed. Would it be possible for you to provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Also, just in case, you may want to check if the folder pane was accidentally toggled off. If it was, you can toggle it back on by clicking the folder icon that appears near the bottom of the screen next to the navigation menu.

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Best way to disable toggling of folder pane? Thanks for the suggestion @gavin310. I’m going to mark this as resolved for now as there’s a workaround but have also noted it as a feature request and will get it added to the plugin.
