In reply to: Image text wrapping not working in IE or Firefox100% valid markup, 100% valid CSS… always feels good when that part’s done. Cleaning house also fixed my issue. Thanks again for the push ??

In reply to: Image text wrapping not working in IE or FirefoxYeah, it’s pretty hacked together isn’t it! I am aware of that…
I generally always do validate all the sites I build. This was one of those “can this be done yesterday” kind of requests. Was hoping for a quick fix just to appease the owners till I can get to fixing all the errors :/Thanks for the tip, you’re right, perhaps I should just get to the grunt work sooner rather than later…
No problem, never be afraid to ask questions!
We all gotta start somewhere ??Sorry about that..
When in your dashboard, on the left go to “Settings” and then to “General”
The first two items there… change them ??I haven’t been able to get any of them to work fully.. The one that almost kind of wants to work is “Comments Captcha Box” by Digitalzoomstudio
When I say it almost wants to work, the input box shows up, but nothing else. Which is more than any of the others I’ve tried. I’ve tried 7 or 8 different captcha plugins so far. I’ll keep trying and let you know if I find one that does work, but no joy as of now :/
Thanks much for the reply.
I’d dig into it myself, but my PHP knowledge is just enough to be dangerous!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Client File Share] [Plugin: WP Client File Share] Files up to 100 MBI’t not the plugin, it’s your hosts php limits. Depending on your hosting provider you do this (this is what I do and it works with my host anyway) is create a “php.ini” file. and put it in your root domain folder. To make a php.ini file just make a new text file, paste the following in it:
; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept. post_max_size = 20M ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files. upload_max_filesize = 20M
Save and name it php.ini. Upload it to your root directory on your host server. Change the values to whatever size you want (the on above is 20MB’s)
This is an old post I know, but thought I’d pipe in for future reference. This came from my host, not sure if it would work the same with all hosts?

The current default memory limit is 32MYou can override it by creating a php.ini in the same directory as the file that’s running with the following content:
memory_limit = 64M
This would go in the wordpress root directory.

In reply to: Theme and wp-admin missing?Never mind!
sometimes all there is to figuring something out is to take a little break and come back later.Stupid solution, copy the .htaccess file INTO the subdomian folder… doh!

In reply to: Nextgen Gallery – centering slideshow imagesNo, I never did find a solution..
From what I gather, the registration point for the images are part of the slideshows actual flash (.swf) file, the registration point being the upper left corner of the image.. To fix/change the registration point it would require an edit to the source flash file (.fla) which I don’t think is available.I searched high and low, but if you happen to find or figure something out, it would be swell if you posted it here.. Until then I guess we have to live with it ??

In reply to: body overlapping header in IE7Scratch that… It’s IE6 that’s having the problems.
