2015-10-23 13:29:01: 1/13 were replaced.Looks like one of them actually DID get replaced, I hadn’t noticed (note that the theme *does* handle the retina version of the logo, so you can ignore those lines). But I can’t understand why the others aren’t. If you take any of those and add ‘@2x’ to any of them, the images are there:
https://jamtown.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/[email protected]And just to clarify, this is a very similar problem as the one I posted a few weeks ago, but it’s a different site and a (seemingly) different issue. ??

In reply to: [MCE Table Buttons] Plugin adding BRs?You know, now that I think more closely about this issue, I’m realizing that your plugin can’t have anything to do with it – it just generates standard table code, it doesn’t actively affect the page. Ignore. ??
Strangely, when I turn your plugin on and off, the “Portfolio Items” Dashboard tab does turn on and off, but that doesn’t match the menu shown in your previews, and it doesn’t contain a Settings menu.
I just deactivated ALL of my plugins except for Responsive Portfolio Gallery – I still don’t see a menu in the Dashboard sidebar. :/
I haven’t created a gallery with this plugin yet since I couldn’t access the menu, but here’s the staging site:

In reply to: [NewsBoard Post and RSS Scroller] "There is a problem fetching the RSS!"Update: I verified that the plugin works with an XML-based feed, so the plugin is at least functioning in that manner. Seems like it’s choking on the older RSS standard?
Ah, that explains it! I’ll get a media query setup going for those particular images.
And interesting about the source of the Retina image switching. I see what you mean, though there’s still an instruction on Apple’s end that’s telling the browser that the low/high resolution state has changed – I just verified that by dragging another app’s window across the 50% line.
Anyway, thanks for the help, and for the great product!
Oh, and one interesting thing that you may already be aware of… I just bought my first Retina MBP but still have a lo-res external monitor that I’m doing most of my development work on. I had been wondering how Safari handles the dual-resolution environment, since you can load a site on one screen but then move the window to the other.
I never would have guessed that it works this way, but it actually switches the images out on the fly – if you drag the window from one side to the other and back again, you’ll see the site images flip back and forth between 1x and 2x as the middle of the window crosses the barrier between the monitors (i.e., >50% “wins”)! I think it actually must be an OS-level trick, because it works in Firefox as well. Nicely done, Apple. ??

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Radio "required" not working, check-box not appropriate…Bump.
Am I just out of luck here? It’s a bit frustrating that automatically requiring a radio button choice is supposed to be part of the software, and yet it doesn’t work in many cases. I would hate to have to hire a developer to create a script for this purpose.
Never mind! The issue appears to have vanished on its own, weird.
If it matters, this is the site:

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Slugging/unresponsive…Hey Danny,
So sorry, I decided later in the day to just move on, I ended up just using a text widget with a MailChimp-created form. I appreciate your help, though!

In reply to: [Advanced Code Editor] how to disable the save boxA bump for this “resolved” issue (which doesn’t sound resolved to me). I can understand why you don’t want to add an actual feature for this, but for Safari users (and yes, I know you have a bias against Safari for some reason) that box is a phenomenal nuisance. If you could just point to the integer that dictates how long the box remains up then we could solve this problem for ourselves by setting it to a tiny amount of time.
