Anonymized & IP with hashtag
Before the IP address is anonymized, we truncate the last byte of the IP address, for example 192.168.178.123 -> 192.168.178.XXX.
This strategy if set as default behavior is thus fully GDPR/CCPA compliant.

I was reading around and not few people says that the cookies for affiliates are just technical cookies, so there is no need to give a consent, if they don’t create a profile of the buyers. That is good!

thanks but I suppose that for example traking the IP addresses should be anonymizied, like google analytics does.. I am not super expert about it, but it looks to be a must to be compliant with GDPR..

And what happen if I set the cookie lifetime to 0 days?
