Thanks, Andrew. The problem seems to have corrected itself, so maybe it was just server traffic.

Hi – It seems it is a problem with the security log file. I’ve modified the option for iThemes Security Pro to put the log in a text file rather than in the database, and then I cleared the database. This has fixed the problem. So, it’s not a problem with Updraft Plus, I believe. THanks for your help.

This seems to be the key line:

I cleared my error log, ran UpdraftPlus, and then check the log to see the following. It doesn’t mean anything to me, but perhaps to you?

Only one other person shares the IP address, and I’m sure there’s nothing weird going on there. Virus scans and malware scans show up negative.

Haven’t tried it from another location yet.

This is happening from home, so the server would belong to our ISP, which is CableOne. I don’t have any other issues with Google’s services, just when I try to run the blogger import.

PS I am already logged into Google, and the page with the buttons that say “Grant Access” and “Deny Access” confirms that.
