Hi Scott, just want to add that the insta feed on one of our sites also has not updated for 3 weeks.

We have no caching plugins. I ran the transient plugin you recommended above (only for expired transients) but the insta feed still not updating.

I just tried unticking Browser Caching in the WP Fastest Cache settings and its still not automatically clearing the cache when a post is updated.

So currently the only way to refresh the cache after a post update is to manually go to WPFC > Delete Cache after updating a post.

Do you have any other ideas what might be causing the automatic clear not to work?

Emre, thanks for your reply. I have realised that Cloudflare actually isn’t running on this site, so we can rule that out.
I have checked again, and the only way for an updated/edited post to show the new content is the manually clear the cache OR to disable the plugin.

Do you have any other suggestions as to why its not working as expected?

Hi, go to the developer tab on the plugin page and download an older version, I used 1.5.1 .
After that double check your plugin’s settings page and make sure you have captions and descriptions ticked (for some reason mine became unticked).

This worked for me as a temporary fix, but hopefully a working version is released soon.

I’m running WP 4.3 and Portfolio slideshow 1.10.0 and also cannot see captions/descriptions/titles. I’m sure they were displaying before.

I have tried re-enabling via the plugin’s settings page, and also adding the shortcode too, but neither works.

Unlike OP I can’t see the HTML elements for captions, so it appears they aren’t coming through at all.

Yes, the widget’s sizing is gone.
If you have access to your website’s stylesheet you can add something this:

ul.instagram-pics li img {
			max-width: 150px !important;
			height: auto !important;
		}

Replace 150 with your desired widthin pixels. This works for me.

I have been troubleshooting on the default version from WordPress plugin site rather than using your master file. I’m gradually getting less ‘zip file not closed correclty’ errors so hopefully the issue is fixing itself.

Hi Marcin, I can’t remember where I originally downloaded the plugin from, but on my sites the directory is types. And I still had the error as shown above.

What I’ve done just now is download 1.6.6.3 from the WordPress plugin repository and just dropped that into my plugins directory to override the old 1.6.6.2 version. So the pending update message has gone and the problem is fixed.

However the plugin at 1000+ files is large-ish. I have some more sites I need to do this for so would rather not have to update them all via FTP. Can you think of another solution?

I’m having the same problem. When I click on the ‘register Toolset’ link it takes me to the wordpress admin add plugin screen.

mc_kath – thank you – I have tested the signup form again and also checked the MailChimp settings page in WP admin and its all working again now.

Sorry for not posting in the correct support forum. On the Plugins page in WP, this plugin is simply called “MailChimp” so I thought MailChimp for WordPress was the match.

I have my restart times at 30 already adn still getting the errors. I have tested also with tar and tar.gz and the backup is stuck on running. Its a bit strange! I run your plugin on about 30 sites, just geting this error on about 5 of them.
