Update on this – Gravatar were finally able to confirm that the email address for the club is actually linked to another ‘parent’ account. I have now been able to contact the person with hte main account and hopefully they will delete our email adress from their grvatar profile so we can set up a new account.

Correct a gravatar picture DOES exist for this club email address.
But I believe the reason gravatar is not allowing log in or password reset for this club email is because its not on a standalone account – its an add-on email for another ‘parent’ Gravatar account.
Can I make a fresh gravatar account for the club email to override the one exisiting?

Yes I did that (see above). No Gravatar account exists for this email address.

Thanks @markclm. I may have to test it then, the existing theme is a bit of a beast. Interesting you say about review crew trying to stop in-theme CPTs. I’ve made themes with CPTs before but found plugin easier to manage, so just use a plugin now.

I’ve figured this out, the shortcode presents quotes as a list so I think by doing do_shortcode that will work.

@gene4god I also had the same problem, I found a conflict Yoast SEO with another plugin and the developer of the other plugin made some fixes and that fixed the problem with the visual editor. So may be worthwhile checking with WebDorado.

Like @offcyclers I am also still having this problem, running 3.3.2 and most recent WP release. Is there any word of a fix for this because its causing problems on all my sites ??

Just another update (I posted this in another thread but its been marked as resolved so reposting here):

Updated 3.3.1 and still got the white screen in the Visual editor. So I clicked on the Text tab to switch to Text editor (just wanted to see that the content was still there) and then back to Visual and the content is now displaying.

But this needs to be done every time I go in to edit a page or post – the Visual editor content is not displaying automatically. When I deactivated the plugin, it does display automatically.

I just updated to 3.3.1 and my site’s visual editor is still buggy (ie. the section where you type in the page content is white, not the whole screen).
Had to deactivate the plugin again in roder to edit pages.

WP 4.5.2

I have also had the problem where visual editor screen appears just white, so we can’t edit the page/post content.
Just updated Yoast SEO to 3.3.1 (today’s update) and still having this problem.

Hopefully this can be fixed, as I’ve had to deactivate the plugin in order to edit pages. Thanks.

@davidbriffa – I had the same problem too. I found that it was because I had used my wp-config file to set the site’s new URL after moving it from one domain to another. Like this:

define('WP_SITEURL', 'https://www.example.com');
define('WP_HOME', 'https://www.example.com');

If you go to WordPress General > Settings and see that your urls are greyed out then your site urls may be set in wp-config too. So you need to delete those URLs from wp-config whislt logged into WordPress, then the Settings screen url fields will become editable and you can enter in the new urls.

After that I found the Better Search Replace plugin ran successfully.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked in the database options table and can see some insta transient rows however I’m not sure what eactly I’m looking for and don’t want to delete any by mistake. Can you provide an example?
Also, have another site running the plugin (on same host) and it is successfully updating so makes me think the problem isn’t in the hosting.
