In reply to: TripAdvisor review script stopped workingThanks again James! I think you may have nailed it with the switching to https which I did a few weeks ago.
With my limited knowledge of all of this I’m guessing that until TripAdvisor comes up with a https user friendly source code I’m out of luck? Here is the current code I’m inserting. ALL Greek to me!
<div id="TA_selfserveprop718" class="TA_selfserveprop"><ul id="uXb9HxVF" class="TA_links oeNzSVNbCd"><li id="krTp6rI8JOh" class="dx8EahC6XESg"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.tripadvisor.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer"><img src="https://www.tripadvisor.com/img/cdsi/img2/branding/150_logo-11900-2.png" alt="TripAdvisor" /></a></li></ul></div><script async src="https://www.jscache.com/wejs?wtype=selfserveprop&uniq=718&locationId=7142483&lang=en_US&rating=true&nreviews=5&writereviewlink=true&popIdx=true&iswide=false&border=true&display_version=2" data-loadtrk onload="this.loadtrk=true"></script>

In reply to: TripAdvisor review script stopped workingThanks James. I’ve tried their support and forums but no luck so far. I thought I’d post here as well to see if anyone else may have come across this issue. I didn’t know if it could have anything to do with a recent WP update as I’m not sure exactly when this stopped working.
Thank you for your reply.
I guess I just didn’t know if each optimizing plugin creates a “folder” where their version of an optimized image is stored while keeping the originally uploaded file untouched.
Take care, David
I have the pro version of NextGen and encountered the same issue. Like others I disabled the ewww plugin and the problem went away. I disabled and deleted ewww then after clearing my cache (probably not necessary) I re-installed ewww and the problem remained.
I did the above after tech support for the pro version had me disable all plugins which showed ewww was the issue. I then I was told to use a different optimization plugin like Imagify, which from what I gather is a paid plugin associated with Imagely. Just waiting for a fix so I can use ewww.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] The images on this page are missing alt tags.I’m using the NextGen Pro Gallery plugin and my Yoast SEO results always show the message: The images on this page are missing alt attributes.
I’ve entered all of the alt, keywords, captions, etc. from within the NextGen plugin. Is this a known issue with this gallery plugin that you’re aware of?Thank you!
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have noticed that even after using PS the image files are still being reduced, usually about 5-7%. It all helps!I do understand that uploading time to insert an image in a post will be slower. It seemed like it was also taking much longer just to insert a previously uploaded and optimized image into a page. Probably not related to the plugin being installed but seemed to notice a big difference shortly after installing it. That’s why I wanted to make sure those optimized photos would not be affected if I disabled or deleted the plugin as I try to see why I’m having this slow-down.
Thanks again, and thanks for the plugin!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Retrieve Emailers Address? Thanks for the reply. My problem was that I received an email from someone when I had the contact form filled out incorrectly.
I wanted to find out if there was a way to retrieve that persons email address as it did not come with the email he sent me. I didn’t know if Contact Form 7 stored that information since he would have had to enter it. Perhaps that info just got written over by my address because of my mistake.
Thank you again!

In reply to: [WP Edit] WP Edit not showing upagh! I’m soooo dense! Don’t use this enough and was confused after starting a complete new site and re-installing plug-ins.
Sorry about that!

In reply to: [WP Edit] WP Edit not showing upThank you for the reply. Sorry, meant to say “Visual Composer”. I was watching a tutorial video on that plugin and it looked like the WP Edit plugin was being used.
I am using a new theme called VellumHere is a link to some screen shots but not sure this is what you need to see.
I’ve deactivated the WP Edit plugin, reactivated it, deleted and reinstalled it but still nothing shows up in the edit screen.
Thanks again

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Poor Google Insights results, stillThanks…I guess I thought that was one of the things Super Cache did but…newbie thinking I guess.
Thank you mrppp for the reply. Seems to be working fine now.
Hello
Thanks for the reply. I do now understand the limits of your responsibility. Not a problem. I do have a few social plugins active as I try to figure out which I like best.
It seems to be working fine right now and it’s just on occasion that I get the “Login” text instead of the Like button. If I can recreate it and can remember the circumstances I’ll post it here so you can check into it.
Thanks again for your reply!
Hi Tom
Excellent!…as is the plugin! Works just fine now.

In reply to: Adding a border on one side of column? Thanks for the reply and all this info. I got some reading up to do! I should stick with taking photos and leave the web design stuff to pros in that field…but I love messing around with new stuff.
Thanks!
