I think generated URL looks correct: website.com/product/my-own-short-term-plan/

You have already used a hyphen in your title, so the permalink won’t add two hyphens.

Can you type out how you want the URL to differ from the generated one?

Sounds frustrating. Are you using WordPress 6.1? When I add alt text, it is not single-line input. https://cloudup.com/ciISgK-lg-6. I am using the Twenty Twenty-Two Theme + WP 6.1.

If you use a commercial theme, you can contact the theme developer. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

I see there is an option to contact Megan Brown on the link you added.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Lastly, I think you are also using the Jetpack Plugin. You can also contact them directly if it is plugin-related.

PS: It is a lovely theme and design

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

Have you tried cropping and sizing images before uploading them to WordPress? There are also Image Optimization plugins available.
