As Jane said, it was because I used text field for email, changed it to email and error disappeared.

If the plugin is smart enough to detect that text field used for an email entry, it should display smart error message with specific instructions.

I can’t see the translation because it displays the Poll Templates. When I click Restore Default Template, it loads the template with the translated strings.

Follow up: how about not setting the cartset, and let it use the default of the database?

Because the default WP now is utf8mb4 not utf8. And also someone, maybe, prefer to use another charset suitable to his language.

– I checked with another non-Network installation and it works fine. So, it is Network installation issue for sure.
– Tried disabling plugins and didn’t help.
– I don’t think that issue with cache or browser extensions, because I tested in Chrome later for the first time. I even ran while disabling cache to make sure.
– Interestingly, I found the following javascript error in the console:
Firebug Console:
ReferenceError: photocrati_ajax is not defined
plupload_options.url = photocrati_ajax.url;

Chrome Console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: photocrati_ajax is not defined admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery:264

Quick solution: In the file nggfunctions.php I have commented lines 553 to 556, as they look repeated from the lines 521 to 523. Now works fine, waiting for the official fix.
