Hi! Do you use All in One SEO plugin? In that case you have to make the homepage translation (title, description, keywords) on the All in One SEO/General Settings page.

the Photocrati NextGEN shows bad programming and incompatibility everywhere. There is no problem with nextGEN 1.9.13 and Nextcellent Gallery – however these plugins are not responsive.

I use All in One SEO, another excellent plugin and it works fine with qTranslate.

Have you also updated NextGEN to 2.0.0? The new NextGEN version is broken for most users as you can see here:

Now the quicktags – language shortcodes like [:en][:de] in “Alt & Title Text / Description” don’t work anymore.

Other problems:

– on Localhost I cannot even move into galleries, I start to get a repeated long URL and an error.
– the sytlesheet (nggallery.css) doesn’t exist anymore to give a decent look to the thumbnails.

We face a huge stepback not only regarding stability and usability at the moment but also the functions are narrowed down compared with the former version. I hope, all this will be sorted out.
