I think I found something. Recently I created a new site only in English without qTranslate-X. This URL was simply created from the title:

Then I installed qTranslate-X and qTranslate slug, I also changed

my English URL to this:

https://infinityarchmedia.com/advertising-film/product-video-manufacturing-industrial-film/

I also generated a German version by using slug QTS:

https://infinityarchmedia.com/de/werbefilm/produktfilm-industriefilm/

Then I used an XML sitemap creator and to my surprise I also found this link in the XML :

https://infinityarchmedia.com/de/advertisement-film/manufacturing-and-industry-film/

Basically it takes the original English URL and it created a duplicate URL for the German version. The original URL should be already deleted but it’s still there.

I quickly tested it on a few pages, but it didn’t work for me. Only the main English site was fine, all the Hungarian and German pages gave me 404 error (the proper link was displayed in the main browser – and it wasn’t redirected). I also tested it with a Free Broken Link Checker and it showed me the broken pages.
After I restored the original file, I had to clear the browser cache.

does the new thumbnail editor solve also the issue on mobile phones? I mean retina display. Currently let’s say I use 160×160 thumbnails, which look fine on my desktop computer. However, on a full or quad HD mobile sreen there is only one thumbnail in a row, and the resolution is quite low, looks pixellated. It would be nice to have retina (high-res) thumbnails on mobile phones.
