In reply to: [BAN Users] Doesnt work for meHi bhaveshxsoni,
I’ve submitted an updated version of the plugin to codecanyon which incorporates a number of changes, including those you’ve requested. The plugin now allows you to enable front end notifications when users are banned. This is handled via a dialog box which appears when the banned user is logged in, and viewing the front end of the website. You can config the dialog to force a logout and/or redirection once they acknowledge the message. You can also set the notification to only appear once, or every time. The updated plugin is now available to download on codecanyon. See link below:

Any questions please do get in touch.

In reply to: [BAN Users] Feature request: CUstomize the message showed to the userHi Peopleinside,
I’ve just released ver 1.2.7 of the BAN Users plugin which now allows you to capture the reason for banning the user without needing to send an email notification. I would welcome your feedback. Also if there is anything else I can add to change your review from a 4 star to a 5 star please let me know.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [BAN Users] Include lift date on emailHi,
I’ve just released an updated version of the plugin 1.2.6 which includes the features you requested. Can you please update to the new version and let me know how you get on?
In summary, if you include the new tag %%unban_date%% in the ban user email template this will then include the lift date. So I suggest something like:
This ban will be lifted: %%unban_date%%
I’ve also added an option that allows you to set the date format so dd-mm-yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy
Look forward to hearing back from you.

In reply to: [BAN Users] Include lift date on emailHi,
Thanks for your kind words and for your suggestion. Am I correct in saying that when the user is banned and they receive their email notification, you would also like the option of including the “lift” date in that email so they know how long they’ve been banned for? Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood. Sounds like a great idea, let me see if I can incorporate into the next release.

In reply to: [BAN Users] Errors at line 0HI Kostek00,
I meant to ask you, when you say “I would really like to use your plugin as it has almost everything I need.”, what doesn’t it do that you’d ideal like to see incorporated into future versions so that it does everything you want it to do.
Would welcome your feedback.

In reply to: [BAN Users] Errors at line 0HI kostek00,
In the previous version of the plugin (ver 1.2.3) I had accidentally left the php display / log errors enabled. So any problems with the site are output to the screen. I don’t believe the errors are anything to do with my plugin, but what I believe is happening is it’s forcing the site to display errors that are attributed to the Catalysts theme. If you upgrade to the most recent version of my plugin the errors should disappear, and if they do they I recommend you follow up with the Catalyst developers and highlight the errors.
Let me know how you get on.
Matt.
