In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Fatal error on new versionHi Héctor,
That worked perfectly, thank you. I have sent a donation in appreciation of your support and for your work on your wonderful plugin.

Mushrit,
It’s actually Twenty Twelve I modified, not Twenty Twenty and it was so long ago and so many changes that it would be difficult to check everything, I wouldn’t know even where to start looking.
I do accept your recommendation that I need a staging area, so I’ll go figure that out and test it that way and report back. Not sure yet how long it will take me. I really appreciate you taking the time to provide input, thanks.

Hi Mushrit,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I can’t swap the theme as it would break the site which is live and it’s a modified version of Twentytwelve, and to my shame, without a child theme.
Any tips or suggestions as to where abouts the conflict might exist so I can play around with it?
Thanks,
BrianThanks James
Hi mbrsolution
Sorry for not responding earlier, for some reason I missed your last reply.
I solved the issue as you said by leaving a copy in the root and making a copy in the WordPress folder. Also your clarification above informs me that the security measures will work, so that’s great to know.
Thanks again for all your help.
Yes – for security reasons I took advice not to install WordPress in the root URL so it’s installed in a sub-folder to throw the bots crawling for admin access.
The site breaks if I remove the .htaccess in the root of the site, however I copied it to the WordPress sub-folder and was able to get AIOWPS to update it successfully and keep it happy. My only issue is that now I have two .htaccess files and I don’t know if the security measures put in there by the plugin in the sub-folder version have any effect now, would you know?
Thanks for all your support on this, it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks! I can see now that it is looking in my WP directory URL for the .htaccess, which is different from my root URL directory, where the .htaccess file actually is.
I can copy it to the WP directory, but is that correct?
Many thanks for the help.
I worked fine for months. In recent days I updated to WP 4.0 and at first all was fine, however it was within a couple of days of the upgrade I noticed the problem. However I do not know if it has anything to do with upgrading to WP 4.0 or not.

In reply to: [Kraken.io Image Optimizer] Krak 'em allHi Karim,
When do you expect to have the ability to optimize the whole media library? It’s a pain having to go through each page of 20 and wait… Is there a workaround to do this more efficiently? I have hundreds of images I’d like to optimize.
thanks,

In reply to: [Print-O-Matic] Ability to print inline images possible?I am having a similar problem. I saw a previous support question around this and the answer was that you have to use absolute paths to the image file and not relative.
However, I have hundreds of images on my site with relative paths. Also it breaks the ability to have an offline working version of the site if I make them all absolute.
To the developers: Is there no way to get the plugin to support relative paths?

In reply to: [Query Multiple Taxonomies] ajax supportHi mypixel,
I have been trying to follow your suggestion above. I’d like to implement this using ajax. I have one query though. Can you show your server side PHP code that responds to the AJAX call? I’d like to see how you implement the GET query in the data on the server side to set the query parameters for selecting only the relevant posts that meet the selection criteria. I can’t quite figure how to do that.
Thanks.
