Thanks for your appreciation. You can use “Exclude selected categories” settings for this. Suppose you have 5 categories and you want it to be available only for 1 category. Then from the above said setting, select the 4 categories and save this setting. Now the functionality will be available only for unselected category posts. Seems like you are having different post types. This functionality is not yet available. As of now only default wordpress post types are considered.

The plugin updation process is completely handled by wordpress. I tried to get the issue as pointed by you by updating the plugin. This is what it showed

As you can see it went on smoothly. So not sure what went wrong in your case. As far as widget is considered, it will be removed if the plugin is deactivated or uninstalled. So if you have reinstalled the plugin, then obviously you need to assign the widget again.

the new version will have this feature. just a couple of days for release.

In few days time, there will be a new release having the option to add custom text for titles.
I don’t have IE8 so had not checked that. Will replace those images with solid images to fix this issue.

1. I think title will be better since label will take some space.
2. I will add option to show/hide plus, minus sign.
3. Can you please be more elaborate on “More flexible short-codes”. What functionality you expect here?
