I imagine you have already fixed this, but you can just rename the plugin folder via FTP, and it will disable the plugin.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] desktop site shows mobile versionYes, there is a blog post on my website about how to patch W3 Total Cache to work completely with the WP Mobile Detector.
Miguel, do you mean the Zotpress plugin doesn’t work at all? Or it doesn’t work on the mobile webpages?
If you turn on WordPress debug in the wp-config.php file, do you see an obvious notice/warning about a conflict?
The plugin only really switches out a theme, and filters content, so if the plugin Zotpress has a reliance on the functions.php file of the desktop theme, it could cause issues.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Wz-mobile themeDean, thanks for the kind words.
You can change the home page in the WordPress settings on the Reading page. If you only want to change it for mobile, that feature isn’t in the free version. But it is available in the paid version.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Using Theme only for mobile siteI am not sure I follow you. What does it specifically mean to not be “active”? Do you mean because the active theme is changed at runtime, and a database option is not set?
What menu options and headers are you referring to? A feature of the mobile theme?

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Plugin Not WorkingYou can login via FTP and change the name of the plugin folder “wp-mobile-detector” to another name. That will deactivate it.
Thundersbe, can you turn on debugging and see what it says?
You can do that in your wp-config.php file.
Time to get a new host.

Connect via FTP to your site, navigate to this folder
“wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector/”.You’ll see a “cache” folder. Right click and there should be an option to
set the permissions for the folder. You’ll want to enter 777 and then click
apply. The actual steps may vary depending on the FTP program, but those should be
pretty close.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] This Plugin is a JokeNot helping unless you pay $50-$250 is absolutely ridiculous. The support threads here speak for themselves.
The PRO version has an interactive theme editor.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Alignment issues when in portrait viewThat problem is being caused by something hard coding a DIV wrapped around the image to 650px. If you change this to 100% or, max-width: 650px, it will be fixed.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Alignment issues when in portrait viewI just visited your site and it appears to be working just fine for me. But it may have something to do with the popup you’re doing on page load. Have you tried without that popup?
