In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] So incredibly annoying. What version of the plugin did you install?
What version of WordPress do you have?
There are no automatic redirects in the plugin besides the mobile home page, so I am not sure what could cause this. Most likely a conflict with another plugin.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] So incredibly annoying.Sorry about that. Try a different browser.
FTP is most likely the way by renaming the folder.
A new version of the plugin should be live today that is a complete rewrite.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Multisite – errorOk great!
I am coming out with a new version in a few weeks that you could try that is a major rewrite of the plugin.
But it was originally designed to strict WordPress specs. We’ve had about a dozen of these issues in the past, mostly related to gallery plugins, but it has always turned out that it was a problem with the other plugin.
When you’re in the admin panel, my plugin only has functionality on its own pages as limited by WordPress itself.
I’ll put it on my list of things to look into though.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] Multiple Apache processesIt is probably the stats. Turn those off. It makes a single entry for every page view and keeps a record of the past 30 days.

In reply to: [WP Mobile Detector] way too many mistakesMy apologies. This is caused by caching plugins. The latest version of the plugin places a warning on how to make a cache plugin and the mobile detector work together.

Connect via FTP to your site, navigate to this folder
“wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector/”.You’ll see a “cache” folder. Right click and there should be an option to
set the permissions for the folder. You’ll want to enter 777 and then click
apply. The actual steps may vary depending on the FTP program, but those should be
pretty close.Forum: Plugins
