Thank you for your feedback, but the original file cannot be marked as a backdoor because it isn’t one, and if files got somehow modified then that’s very unfortunate because it means the website got somehow hacked, so I suggest you change your passwords and reinstall wordpress from scratch (and you should check the database also).

However, the results you have got using that plugin are not correct, our plugins are secure and there is just no way any of them can be marked as backdoors.

My suggestion is to find another (and better) malware scanner than just a plugin…

However, the issue you have is not generated by our plugin, because we do not “secure” the wp-admin area with an .htaccess file, thus you should better check first if you don’t have other plugins like BulletProof Security that actually create .htaccess files in wp-admin directory (and sometimes generating issues like yours).

It seems that the wp-config file has not been updated with the new prefix. Please access the wp-config.php file, locate the $table_prefix = ‘wp_’; line and replace the wp_ with the new prefix you have used.

We can confirm that the issue is fixed. If you encountered such problem, simply delete the EMPTY wp-config.php file from the root that the plugin generated.
