No problem, sorry we can’t do more. Certainly I think if you have to use IIS then a more up-to-date version (WebMatrix can certainly be helpful in provisioning WP sites in that environment) is a good move.

Hmm, yep unfortunately there have been not infrequent issues reported with that stable of themes and at least here on the www.remarpro.com forum we just don’t have sufficient bandwidth to offer much further help in resolving this kind of thing.

Can I shut the category off so it doesn’t show under event details?

So that categories are not listed on single event pages you mean? If so, yes, you can customize any part of the single event template you like (and in this case – with regards to the category list – you would probably also need to learn some basics about our meta walker):

I’ll go ahead and mark this one as resolved and we can pursue this in that other thread.

Not a bug, I don’t think, but a CSS issue. Try switching to a default theme and see if you see the same thing (if you don’t that suggests it is indeed something that needs to be resolved at CSS level when integrating this plugin with your theme).

It certainly sounds like something you can fix with some CSS and the Themer’s Guide in particular guides you through safely customizing this.

Hi bkatrin, I don’t believe that is a bug – I think you are described expected functionality. WordPress date formats are not automatically used in every aspect of The Events Calendar’s outputs and that is by design. However, it is certainly customizable as I explained initially.

I’m not sure I know which plugin you are referring to by “sync Facebook events” – do you mean the official Facebook Events plugin by Modern Tribe? If so, please post on the appropriate forum ??

You can use the trash bulk action as you would for posts, except that may laborious with so many events – in which case an automated script (or working directly on the database) is probably the best course of action, unless you can set up a fresh WP installation with a fresh database – but that may or may not be viable for you.
