In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] SupportUpdate to our previous response:
We were able to locate the conversation in our support inbox and we acknowledge that there was a miscommunication from our end. You asked us for help with altering one of our standard out-of-the-box features (the format for the opt-in prompt). The change is possible but requires some custom coding on your website. We typically do not write custom code for our customers because of a multitude of reasons (can create conflict on your site, break your site, may require testing/tuning, etc).
Instead of writing the full custom-code, one of our engineers gave you a “pointer” or a “starting-point” if you will, to help you out. It is no surprise that you perceived the help as “not-complete” or “evasive”. We have made a note of being more clear to our customers in these types of scenarios.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Opt In NotificationHi there,
There is no way to disable opt-in notification on user-specified pages in our plugin’s setting page. It will require some custom code. We can help you if you reach out to our support mailbox and mention this thread.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Slows websiteHi there,
Our plugin loads a super light weight JS file from our CDN. Below is the file that gets loaded on all pages that are push enabled:
https://cdn.webpushr.com/app.min.js
The file is only ~13KB. It should load super fast (<300ms).
We suspect that something else might be causing your site to slow down. Our tech team would be happy to investigate for you.
Send us an email so we can take a look at your site. Please mention this thread in your email.

Hi there,
You can assign roles as key:value pairs. For example:
User A
Role_1:True; Role_2:True
User B
Role_2:True; Role_3:True
You can then send push notification where custom attribute Role_2:True, and both User A and B will get the notification.
Please e-mail us for better personalized support.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Disable notifications on certain pagesHi there, there is no option to do that inside the plugin. You can make some css changes (example below), or dynamically remove our code snippet from pages you don’t want to display visual elements on. This will however require some coding effort. You can reach out to us at [email protected] for additional support.
Example CSS:
<style>#webpushr-bell-optin{display:none}</style>Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Webpush notification not showingHi there,
It looks like one of our engineers was able to respond and help fix the issue.
If you do not enable the 2-step custom prompt and only enable the native prompt, Chrome will under some circumstances not show the standard prompt UI. You can read more on this here:
https://blog.chromium.org/2020/01/introducing-quieter-permission-ui-for.html?m=1
We, therefore, recommend that all publishers use our Custom Prompt feature.

Webpushr Support TeamHi there,
‘send push to subscriber id’ only accepts one id at a time. There is no way to add multiple sid.
You most likely will need to assign a custom attribute(s) to your subscribers and then send push to those custom attributes.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] WPML multilanguage supportHi there,
We have no direct experience with wpml, but we are assuming it creates multiple sections for different languages for a domain. If so, our plugin will not be able to automatically create opt-in prompts in multiple languages. However, with some coding, you can create language-specific prompts on your site.
Please email us at our support inbox so one of our engineers can provide you with personalized support.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] User IDHi there,
That is currently not possible. You can assign a custom attribute and then target the custom attribute. User ID feature will only return Webpushr assigned user ID.
Hope this helps.
