We contacted our email infrastructure provider who, after several tests, identified a HashDB blocking problem for messages sent by the Form.
The situation appears to have been resolved.Thank you for your help.
It wasn’t the Plugin’s problem after all. After all the error occurs in v. 3.12.1 just purge the pages cache (we use the WP-Optimize plugin).
In version 3.12.0 this does not happen.
No. It′s not PRO.
We are not a WP Mail SMTP Pro license holder.
We parameterize our office365 data in the “Other SMTP Mailer” as we do with other applications.
Anyway, the test emails are always received by the receiver and the requests created by the form never arrive. We have the latest version of both WPForms and WP Mail SMTP installed.
We disable all plugins except WPForms and WP Mail SMTP. The situation remains: the test emails are always received by the receiver and the requests created by the form never arrive.
We installed the WP Mail Logging plugin. Requests created on the Form are recorded in the Email Logs without any errors.
We also created a new contact form in WPForms with the default notification settings.
Requests created in this new form are also recorded in the Email Logs without any errors and are not received by the recipient. The emails created by requests in a form created in WPForms seem to be sent but rejected by the mailer, since they are not delivered to the recipient.
Test emails reach the recipient, ie they are not rejected. So, some questions:
- what are the differences between the test emails and the form emails that explain a possible rejection of the latter by the mailer?
- lack of TLS 1.2 ?
- DMARC rejection ?
Yes. When sending a test email, no error messages are received and the email reaches its destination without any problems.
But also when someone visits the page and sends message through WPForm, they don’t get any error message. Only the notification email is not delivered to us.As I said, we already tried using other mailers (Office365/Gmail) and the behavior remains: the messages sent from the form do not reach us, but the test emails are sent correctly.

It’s easier to send as an attachment to an email.
The size is so small (2Kb).

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Facts:</span>
- We have several applications using the same mailer with identical configurations working correctly;
- The test mail sent by WP Mail SMTP is correctly sent.
- We tried changing the settings for other mailers (Office365/Gmail) and the behavior remains – the mail sent from the form does not reach the recipient and the test mail arrives.
<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Questions:</span>
- What are the differences between the test mail and the one sent by the form?
- Does the form support the TLS 1.2 protocol?
Identical problem happens on our webServer (IIS).
We found that if you disable Minify the problem disappears.
As soon as Minify is enabled again, several CGI / FastCGI processes (php-cgi.exe) are launched that exhaust CPU and Memory resources.Emails are sent to the host smtp.ptempresas.pt (with TLS encryption).
I analyzed the logs on our Check Point context firewall and I verified that all emails go out without problems. So it looks like emails sent from the Form are rejected !!!
I wonder why?
DMARC rejection ?I remember that the test email sent from WP Mail SMTP arrives correctly at the destination.
OK. It worked.
Thanks.I did according to your instructions and only one event was registered:

By the way, emails were sent without problems until recently! We have configured the WP Mail SMTP plugin where everything is also well configured.
From this plugin we send test email and it is sent correctly. What can I check to find out why emails are no longer being sent from the Contact Form?
When is v.3.2.14 planned for?
