    Hello,

We were able to replicate the error. Thanks for bringing it to our notice.

The updated version 3.6.3 reflects the fix. You can update the plugin via your dashboard, if you did not get the notice to update yet you can de-activate, uninstall and re-install the plugin again.

Best of luck with your auctions.

Please do leave a rating and review when you get a few minutes, thank you!

I’ve just tested it for email delivery and we received the emails for outbid notifications to the bidder and bid notifications to the admin.

Can you please check with your hosting provider if there is something preventing those emails from going out. Based on their feedback if there is something we can fix in our plugin we can do so. Since we can’t test on every hosting provider any information you can get from them can help us. Thanks.

It’s odd that it says “Bid $5.00 or higher” if your starting bid is $25. Can I see your site please? I just made a test auction on my own site and the values are showing correctly.

On the other hand if your bid increment is $5 then the prompt to “Bid $30.00 or higher” after placing the starting bid of $25.00 is correct.

In hindsight I guess I could’ve used better words to help the situation.

Please do read the other comments left on the better reviews as well.

If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with me.

    Hi jnmcabee,

Can I ask when you bought our Pro plugin? Are you a subscriber or an Instant Download buyer. Because you would only be able to get concurrent updates if you were a subscriber and then you would have forum access where you can get the support you need, for which we send out instructions on how to register etc…

Instant Download buyers get support from us as well, provided they do actually get in touch with us. We’ve never turned anyone back.

But I guess you wanted to use this medium to get in touch with us. That’s fine too.

If half the features don’t work I think we’d know by now, you can try out our demo here https://demo.wpauctions.com to see that all the features do in fact work.

The Auction Landing Page is a page which can be assigned as the default landing page for the sidebar widget, in case you don’t show a widget enabled area on your home page.

The Default Auction Page is a page which can have a shortcode embedded to show all your auctions.

Both those pages can work independently or in relation with each other. It takes a bit of getting used to, as they each have their own benefits and the choice is left up to the user which they want to use.

The Registered Users Only mode works for the Traditional Display as that was the case it was built for.

Our new Responsive Display requires all users to register because our feedback over 7 years from selling this plugin, to thousands of satisfied buyers, has been to increase the relevancy of bids placed. This solved it, so we made it the default for that display.

The Traditional Display is still made available for those who don’t wish to have that level of user management.

So with all these options and choices I’ve stated above I can’t agree with you when you say our plugin is a joke.

In fact we’re quite proud of the many charities, government agencies, multi-million dollar companies, private businesses and many individuals who use our plugin on a daily basis.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you are looking for help and we’ll be glad to assist you.

    Best of luck otherwise,
    Hyder

    Sure,

Open up the style.css file and add this to the bottom of the file:

    #content { padding-top: 30px; }

You can change the value if you want more/less space.

Next update will have this fixed so don’t worry about it if you upgrade later on.

Even though we met all the users requirements, and got the plugin working for them, they continued their dispute with PayPal, got their refund and after contacting for the pro plugin payment he has not responded to us.

Just posting it in case anyone else gets him as a customer.

Hi, are you using the Pro or free version?

You say you have been running it, for how long and have emails gone out in the past?

If so, can you check your spam folder and ask your bidders to check their spam folders for the emails?

    (@weborithm)

Sorry this version available here does not, but our Pro version available via our website has this feature.

As for the auto bid up to the same amount, the one who placed it first would be the eventual winner if the bid price does not go above the last placed bid.

To add to my comment above:

We always recommend that auctions are placed on a single page, as per our documentation. Placing multiple auctions on the same page is not a supported scenario and can give rise to errors, these errors are not an inherent flaw in the plugin but rather can happen due to incorrect use of it.

Your first problem is that you’ve put all your auctions on one Post/Page. It may seem to be working but there are errors that could popup because all auctions are in one Post/Page, plus I assume it must be very very confusing for your users.

It’s a use case scenario we don’t support, do not test against or advise.

All auctions sites on the web separate their auctions into single Pages. This is common. So please embed each auction into it’s own Post/Page.

    Hi Lana,

Are you using the Lite version or the Pro version?

Can you point us to your website please?

Sorry for the trouble, this sounds like a JavaScript conflict most probably, but I’ll know more once we can see your website to figure out what the problem could be.

    Hi rdutchak,

    Happy New Year to you.

Sorry about the trouble you faced with our plugin purchase, we adjusted some variables in the product download that we sell via e-junkie.com and they recently updated their backend interface. Unfortunately I did not see that I have to physically tick a select box to make the download available (image). This was done automatically before they updated their interface.

It’s not that we’re out to scam you, as you claimed on your review of our plugin even though you did not get a chance to use it yet, it would be kind of hard to keep this scam going for the 6+ years we’ve been selling the Pro plugin to thousands of satisfied buyers. Don’t you think?

An email to us would have gotten the same response I’m writing to you now.

Anyway, I’ve updated our backend download link in e-junkie thanks to your email and review.

I’ve also emailed your the Pro plugin ZIP file and the free bonus of the Zoom add-on.

    Zoom Add-on instructions:

Upload, install and activate as a regular plugin. You can then customize it via the ‘Zoom’ admin menu under “WP Auctions”. It will only work on the new responsive display.

If you have any other questions feel free to get in touch.

I hope you’ll rescind/change your review here and cancel your dispute on PayPal.

Also do understand this before you subject someone else on this platform to very quick judgements and accusations. We live in different parts of the world and time differences can delay responses. You left this review 2 hours ago and you emailed me an hour before that.

Please allow at least 12 hours or even 6 for a response? Especially since it’s a Sunday too.

I would think in this connected world where everything is more or less transparent, especially here on www.remarpro.com where if you choose not to change your review we’ll have to deal with it for the rest of the future of this plugin, you have various avenues to get in touch with people who are trying to get by. Just like you.
