Ah yes I knew wp-config would change.. this is going to be a fresh install so the new DB name would naturally go in there.

But did you answer my question about the file itself that I am importing?

This will be the same https://domain.com/folder/

This will not server1_samename to server2_samename

So do I change the MySQL FILE NAME from server1_samename.sql.gz to

server2_samename.sql.gz

That seems to have helped some, but I still have a problem from time to time.

The sites load lightning fast, but then I can’t get in to edit. When I check, it says 1 entry (me) but 350% of 400% which is insane.

I was told to install Hearbeat but I have no idea how to use that.

Also do not understand about cron jobs.

Please help…

How can this be stopped? It’s happening again and I can’t get in to edit my sites. The sites load just fine, just can’t load the edit page.

I asked them if it was bots and DDOS and they said no. Usually they can block the IPs. I will let them know about this! Thank you so much.

I did not change a thing but went to my site and got the

“Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress. Please check that the mysqli PHP extension is installed and enabled” message and no page load.

Latest DIVI theme, PHP is 8.1, WP is 6.2.2, a few plugins are up to date (LiteSpeed Cache and Classic Widgets) I did not change anything so what could be the problem?

I am using the classic editor in DIVI and no longer see the override button in my posts. Where did it go?

Nope… just updated PHP to 8.1 which was required for all else to work. I don’t even know what a .pot file is.

Where did the checkbox go that allows you to disable sending for just that post? Sometimes you need to edit for spelling etc, and you don’t want it to send again,

Why have I lost this checkbox at the bottom of the posts?

I am looking for something like this as my client does not want to use Mail Chimp anymore. He has around 2000 subscribers.

Aha, I found the original…which includes other problems.

I tried to move a complicated website over from WP Engine to Name Cheap which is the server I use, using the same domain etc.

I am positive I successfully uploaded all the files from the backup and imported the DB as all the content (text) is there EXCEPT the images used in the posts and the media files do not show up in the panel. I created a DB with the same name. Media files will NOT show up in the media panel even though they are in the uploads folders. Graphics from the posts are missing even though I looked at the path and went into the folders they were supposedly in and they were missing. I did get a complete backup from WP Engine people so I know I did not miss uploading anything. Are they in the DB? I made sure the uploads folder permissions were all set to 0755. To complicate matters, the former webmaster won’t answer my questions about how he set up another site in another folder which I cannot find, (www.domainname.com/otherdomain/) and was accessed from the menu. I was an admin on the other server but I only made posts with graphics to both sites… did not do much else. The site was so complicated with dozens of plugins, add-ons and other unnecessary stuff and it was just a MESS. Former curator will not even answer questions. I am desperate to help the client as his site was a trove of information since 2013 and he doesn’t want to lose it. The sub-site can be recreated separately. I just want the main site to show the graphics before I start tweaking it and removing the junk.

Please tell me what you did? I tried to update and now my site is gone, same error message. WHERE did you move this folder to?
