In reply to: [WooCommerce] Order missing in WoocimmceSorry the misspelling in the topic. Should be: Order missing in Woocommerce
Thanks a lot!
Unfortenuatly these are not quite the answers I’m looking for. I can’t see/read where data is processed? Is data processed inside the E.U. or in the U.S.? How do I choose data to only be processed in a E.U. data center?
Another issue – the user should not by themselves turn on/off “do not track me” in the browser, this must be respected by the cookie consent – in other words Jetpack may not track the behavior from page to page in a session etc. If a visitor does not consent, this must be respected. How do I set Jetpack not tracking a visitor if no consent?
I hope you can answer these questions. Thanks a lot… :o)

In reply to: [WooPayments: Integrated WooCommerce Payments] gdpr compliantHi Janine
How can WooCommmerce be GDPR compliance in accordance with this article from 2020 – please elaborate:“Breaking news: On July 16, 2020, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has ruled that any cloud services hosted in the US are incapable of complying with the GDPR and EU privacy laws.
In August 2016, the EU-US Privacy Shield framework came into effect, which “protects the fundamental rights of anyone in the EU whose personal data is transferred to the United States for commercial purposes. It allows the free transfer of data to companies that are certified in the US under the Privacy Shield.” – European Commission website
However after today’s CJEU ruling, this Privacy Shield framework became invalidated due to significant differences between EU and US privacy laws.”Please read the full article here:

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Not meeting expectationsHi Yani
With my latest 20GB migration I was in touch with Pim at support. She was very helpfull. I have no idea if a website is small or big (9GB or 20GB). I believe this could be a normal size for blogs using a lot of images etc. (as you mention above). What I need is a good feeling that AI1WPM does the job.Maybe the reason could be that websites on shared hosting like One.com, Unoeuro.com etc. have limited ressources that should be addressed?

What else do you need to know?
Best regards,

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Not meeting expectations@snifflevalve thanks for the recipe, I will take a closer look at the this. :o)
Have written to the folks at AIOWPM and waiting for reply after trying exporting the website with all plugins deactivated – even this doesn’t work. It’s a website I don’t made originally, so I don’t know what causes these problems. Hopefully I can get it sorted out.
Stay tuned for more info as things progress… :o)

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Not meeting expectationsThank you very much! I have tried both in MAMP PRO and live-/test webserver, and still not working. But I will try out to get it to work, I’m not giving up. I’m happy for your interest on this matter, keeps the spirit up… :o) I hope finding a solution and getting the plugin better to know step-by-step.
Now, I just need some hep and directions from the plugins supporters.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Not meeting expectations@snifflevalve – thanks for asking, the answers is no…. and thats why I bought All-in-One WP Migration tool to get things done, easily. But it’s not working out of the box – as promised – not even the PRO-version at 59USD.
I’m not saying that I’m doing something wrong, it could very well be, but following the guide doesn’t work (for me at least…). I need to wait for support to help me out.
Even this is a one star recommendation I’m still optimistic…
Cheers

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Not meeting expectationsThanks, but even you can help – it’s still not out of the box easy to use.
But I would appreciate support. I exported a website – and tried to import it. Followed the step-by-step manual. Have tried on both MAMP RPO and test-website. What do you need to know?
