I’ve discovered that by turning off the plugin “Simple Shortcodes” the <p> tags were removed and the banner text was centered again. (darn those meddling plugins!)

Can you please tell me if the new release will also fix the same issue when you try to share via the other social media and email links too (not just Facebook)? I find that it pops open a new email, Tweet, etc. but it only grabs the site’s description text, not even a link. I set this theme up for a client expecting that they’d be able to share individual images.

My client needs a pay-at-the-door option. As a work-around we’ve listed the price as $0.00 and wrote the actual ticket price in the Event Description field. This isn’t a good option though because in the confirmation page it says the event is “free”.

I’ve followed the few instructions they give in the FAQ on how to ensure your confirmations are sent. I’ve also clicked on the “Resend Registration Details” button in the Attendee List, it responds with “Resending email to attendee” but no email is actually sent.

After over an hour of trying to figure it out, I’m at a standstill. My client is not pleased.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I’ve successfully created an event but don’t get any confirmation email. My event is free too.

Thanks esmi. It’s working now.

I had to resort to re-uploading all files and folders. I lost my .htaccess file in the process (had a bit of a heart attack because I couldn’t get my wp-admin log in page). I think ultimately there was a plugin conflict but re-uploading everything and doing fresh installs of the plugins seemed to do the trick.
