I enter localhost as it specifies – I then get a blue window with IIS7 written on it – it does not take me to the xampp control panel to then install the wordpress database as it should!, many thanks in advance!!!!

Hi, I do not have IIS installed!, I changed the port number to 12 instead of 80 as I found a youtube tutorial that told me to do so!, when I type in localhost:12 I get this message come up

Welcome to XAMPP for Windows 5.6.28

You have successfully installed XAMPP on this system! Now you can start using Apache, MariaDB, PHP and other components. You can find more info in the FAQs section or check the HOW-TO Guides for getting started with PHP applications.

Start the XAMPP Control Panel to check the server status.

Does this mean that it has installed?, also, after this I cant download wordpress correctly!, I am in a muddle!!, any help would be much appreciated!
