No. The problem MOST LIKELY is caused by a conflict with a plugin itself and not the name. Renaming a plugin directory will disable the plugin. I was giving you the directory structure for plugins since you asked above “can you tell me what looks like a plugin extension”
Rename one plugin directory at a time and see if that fixes your problem which would also give you the problematic plugin.
There are thousands of themes and you never mention which theme you are using but that might help. Have you tried contacting the theme author?
As a bit of a guess Would say to look at the theme’s functions.php
Just copy off each plugin directory (as a backup) and remove the one on the server. Or just remove all permissions from each plugin directory on the server and see if the problem goes away. Either way do one plugin at a time so you will know which one caused the issue.
