I will also run you through our process for going live, all done via SSH, always hosted by ourselves and the same process every time. We also use the same versions of MariaDB on both servers.

Rsync the files from dev server to live server
MySQL Dump on dev server using mysqldump
Search/replace url and document root in sql file using nano
Import SQL file to live server using mysql command
Edit wp-config file on live server to reflect new settings with nano
Login to admin, reset permalinks, check forms, test site

Thank you for your reply. It is quite hard to screenshot but I can describe in further detail. If this does not help then I will screenshot on the next project.

We usually create on average 2-3 forms:
The forms are listed perfectly.
The HTML in the first tab for each contact form is there.
The email template tab, To, From, Subject, Addition Headers and Body are missing.

It seems like you need to apply a css height:auto to your images. This may be something that is being generated from your WordPress theme.

This plugin is being supported. Is there an issue you are having specifically?

Thanks to jdeanwilson’s help, we have found the cause of this issue. When the plugin is stating that the campaign is starting in the far distant future, this is because someone or another plugin has enabled DISABLE_WP_CRON but the webmaster has not correctly setup the manual cronjob in their hosting control panel.

If DISABLE_WP_CRON is set to true then this disables WordPress’s CRON feature to be able to run commands on specific dates at specific times without user intervention. Without this feature, WP Easy Post mailing becomes pretty useless.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with the plugin and I do have your emails which are starred in my inbox.

Please bare in mind that this plugin has not yet reached version 1.0 and WILL have bugs. We are aware of issues in a small number of hosting environments where the WordPress cronjob does not run correctly due to extreme limits set on resources usually on budget hosting accounts, we will get round to fixing this at some point but we have other issues to fix on the plugin also.

Thank you for your message but you will have this same issue with most plugins as each plugin has to be developed specifically to work with other plugins.

At this stage, we have no plans to develop our plugin to integrate with Web Dorado Form Maker.

Thank you for your help with this vegardlr. I have received your emails and are waiting to be dealt with but my company has been a priority.

There are quite a few bugs at the moment regarding the wp-cron and sending of emails, the plugin is working perfect on one of my cPanel/CloudLinux server but I need to take a step back and rethink how emails are sent as some hosting providers are stopping/capping the script/emails from being sent. What I have found so far:

– Some hosting providers are killing the sending script after 30+ seconds as php files “shouldnt” have any reason to run more than 30 seconds.
– Some hosting providers are detecting too many emails are being sent in a short period of time and blocking the send.
Some hosting providers will not allow the wp-cron to run at all and needs to be setup manually which beginners will not know how to do.
– Some hosting providers will not let my send script run at all because it tries to override server settings such as set_time_limit()

Hi Jane,

This plugin does have a widget that can be dragged into the sidebar but I have quickly looked at your website and it does not seem to have sidebar support built into the theme that you have chosen or you have not configured the sidebar.

You may wish to speak to the theme developers about this.

Hello Malia,

This plugin was developed to be as easy as possible for developers to work with, due to the way that the templates are setup using the WordPress loop. It does support having the email in a summary format but at this stage you will need a developer to create the template for this.

In future I may develop the ability to create templates in the admin but that will be a long way off but I will add it to my list.

At the moment I understand there are some issues with sending emails on a very small number of hosting providers. I am not sure on the exact cause but I think it is something to do with the hosting provider limiting the WordPress cron but I do have this on my list of look into further.
