I was hoping to view it through my dashboard

I checked the compatibility box, saved changes, cleared my cache, checked Feed Validator again and it still shows the same error message. Can you suggest anything else I can do? Thank you.

I deactivated the spam free plugin and got this error message I had never gotten before:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2965231 bytes) in /home/ipenwil9/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1358

I believe its an issue with Firefox browser. At least it was for me. More precisely, an add-on was causing a conflict for me. It was at my end, per usual. ??

Just for the record, I did reload 2.8 before ever starting this discussion.

The compose area where we write new posts does not have any of the WYSIWYG features. Whether in “visual” or HTML it just shows markup language. Someone needs to address this issue because I need to post a new story on my blog ASAP. Even if a plugin that works with the compose area isn’t updated yet, this section should work on its own with no enhancements. As the previous comment said, there is nothing there to work with.

It turned out that it was a plugin that was not compatible with the new WP version. Thanks very much for your reply!

Same here. I deleted the older version (big mistake) and installed 999 but it doesn’t show up in my plugin directory either.

I am relatively new to WP blogs, but I had switched to one thinking that my blog would look nicer than my old one on Typepad called Pentimento.

I was very disappointed to see that WP didn’t have colors for text like Typepad. So, finding this plugin was fantastic. Thank you so much!
