OK thanks, I have implemented your suggestion and will see how it pans out over successive crawls by Google.
Hi, it was in Google Console that I found these URLs. I have uninstalled wordfence and used wordfence cleaner but these URLs are still generated, how do I stop it? How can I remove it? It should NOT exist if I remove the plugin.
This is terrible for SEO, in essence the plugin is causing masses of duplicate pages then we have to rely on Google console to tell them there is no effect, then what is the point in producing these duplicate pages? could this be the death of a website being penalised by Googles Panda?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Warning after activation: The plugin generated 241..Wow this not been solved yet? I’ve been holding off upgrading after reading all the posts.
For those who have a permalink problem, I always get this when upgrading, I simply switch on default permalinks then change back to custom and that solves the problem (for me anyway)

In reply to: Broken links across Blog, What are these links?Yes, the tags do exist, when I ran Xenu backlink checker, it says:
Broken page-local links (also named ‘anchors’, ‘fragment identifiers’):
domainname/blog/#viewed not found
domainname/blog/#recent not found
domainname/blog/#tags not foundThe above 3 #viewed / #recent #tags occurs on every page.
While I was writing this I realised this is related to a plug-in WP MashSocial Wigdet

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Too Many Redirects After UpdateResolved Issue
Whenever updating / activating the plugin, I have to go to settings > permalinks then change to default > save then go back and put in my custom /%category%/%postname%/ again
after performing above the redirect issue dissappears.

Seems like the common fix as mentioned by mikeotgaar, disable cache plugin, remove .htaccess entries, remove and reinstall Jetpack (the new version is OK) and ensure Photon is disabled, re-install your cache plugin.
Ok I figured out what caused my original problem.
Upon installing v2.0.4, photon was activated which caused the php error line on the front page. The remainder of redirect problems was a combination of not uninstalling correctly & possibly a WP Superchache conflict but not verified.
After reinstalling v2.0.4 everything was ok until I activated photon, it’s that module that was causing a php error.
Solved by uninstalling jetpack & re-installing 2.0.4… no problems so far
Ohhh my… the redirect loop is back… can anyone help?
Oh dear… now my blog is not working. The redirect loop is still appearing, when I try to activate jetpack 2.0.3 in plugins, WordPress success message says activated but it is not, I can still keep pressing activate….
