I believe some of the replies contained valuable information (such as identifying that using a PHP version below 8 was the cause of the problem), which could benefit the community and serve as a helpful reference for future cases and learning opportunities.

Additionally, I would argue that the “me too” posts contributed to drawing the developer’s attention back to the issue, especially after their initial response indicated they couldn’t reproduce the problem. In that sense, those posts were part of the process that led to finding the solution.

My point is that the moderation action felt a bit too drastic in this case, as those comments had value for the community. ??

Any news on getting this up an running again? Currently there is no menu option available for settings, and no bounce handling taking place.

I have the same situation with a clients site. When there is no cart page selected in WooC settings the users gets redirected to front page on cart update or when adding a discount coupon.

I’d say this is a bug and not a desired feature. If the cart is placed on the same page as checkout the users should stay on that page when the cart is updated and the page is refreshed (that is, when ajax is disabled).

@timwhitlock I have the same issue with large .po-files like Woocommerce’s, and my hosting provider says that they have a security setting that stops large Reguests. Apparently the plugin sends the entire file in the request, and the solution to this would probably be (as has been suggested above) to instead post it with multipart. Any chance you are looking in that direction to solve this?

I’m having this problem as well …

I get a conflict with the Recently Popular Plugin, with the following error mess:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method RecentlyPopularWidget::get_settings() in G:\xampp\htdocs\ledarskapfornyelse.se\wp-content\plugins\widget-classes\widget-classes.php on line 64

Before I posted I started out with deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme, and the issue was still there.

I’ve now made a clean and fresh wp install and viola, there was the cropping page. Realize I should have done that before I posted, but the problem was there on several sites that I had upgraded to 2.9.2 and I felt sure that I had it covered. My bad.

So starting from scratch and then activating my favorite plugins it turns out that it was ozh-admin-drop-down-menu, https://ozh.in/kl, that was the problem. I’ll see if I can get Ohz to have a look at this.

It was a Add-on (FirePHP) in Firefox thas was the problem. Case closed.
