In reply to: [AppStore Lookup for Wordpress] How do I use this?Adam,
I was looking for more details on parameters like the release date, which has the ability to use a date format parameter. I was hoping to find a quick sample of the syntax. I know what I want to use, but without trial and error, there seems to be no quick way to just see what that tag should look like. I can assume that [asl_release_date M d, Y] will work, but it would be nice if the page made it a little more explicit.
Otherwise, this is working great and I really love it!
Thank you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [FeedWordPress] YouTube RSS Feeds BrokenI went out to the author’s GitHub account and downloaded a zip of the latest, backed up my current version on my server, and dropped it into the plugins directory. This solved the problems that I have been seeing.
It would be awesome if this was updated through the WordPress updater, however if you are looking for a solution, this is probably the first thing you should try. The latest update is 4 months ago, as opposed to the official update which is a year ago.

In reply to: [FeedWordPress] Don't download… fatal errors lock you out of Admin panelI have used this plugin for years, and have never seen the problem you describe. You can login to your cPanel and delete the plugin to restore your WP instance, as others have described.
I talked to my host about this problem prior to the update. My issue is that the form submissions aren’t being emailed to me. However, according to my host, WordPress is using the host email, without credentials, which is denying messages from being sent. This wasn’t a problem prior to my host cracking down on (potentially) unauthorized email from being sent through the server.
I’ve installed WP-Mail-SMTP, however it still seems to try to send from the wrong account. Fixing this issue would probably fix the other issues that are also listed above.
My feeds were working up until recently, when something changed, possibly on Google’s side. Clicking on the link shows me the proper RSS feed in Safari. The following was copied straight out of the FeedWordpress Syndication console for FeedWordpress 2011.1019

Richard: Isn’t wordpress multi-site by default now?
I am having the same issue, everything is sent fine but I end up getting spammed by my users because the form appears to “hang” in progress. For the time being I’ve added a note to the bottom of the form to let them know to check their email for an auto-response until we get the form fixed. This just started with the latest update to Contact Form 7.
I am having the same problem, however the form was working fine prior to updating to the latest version of Contact Form 7. I have used this form for roughly 2 years now with no faults prior. My theme has not changed, and my plugins have not changed, however I have been keeping up with the latest wordpress patches.
