This would be really useful, I just can’t see a way to do it, anyone else manage to do this?

Sorry to bump, but did you ever manage to fix this? I’m having the same issue for an editor role in of my installations – if you’re logged in as an editor, you’re unable to successfully add menu items – they’ve vanished whnen you click ‘save’.

I understand that WordPress can act as a CMS through the virtue of it being such a good blogging platform, however, with a few modifications I feel the page system could be a lot more powerful.

In the past I’ve used a flat file PHP CMS which let me put includes across the page, I love everything about WordPress except the fact that I can only put one content block on the page.

I’ve tried several plugins to remedy this but they are painfully complicated for something that I’d really hoped would be relatively simple.

Surely someone has had a similar experience and found a solution.

Okay, it might help if I give some of my background on this. I’m using v 2.7 and it seems to be on pages with tables on them does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you so much for your response, it’s sometimes so hard to to talk to someone on these forums.

I can do a little PHP, bnothing major and I’m willing to work things out for myself, but the real stumbling point is creating something that anyone can use later on – even if they’re not technically minded.

I’ll have a look at the sidebar plugin and see if it could be adapted…

I have had a look around Google et al., but there’s nothing on pulling multiple blocks of content form different files.
