In reply to: [WP Event Ticketing] Use plugin in Editor RoleWordPress has certain roles
Super Admin – somebody with access to the site network administration features and all other features. See the Create a Network article.
Administrator – somebody who has access to all the administration features within a single site.
Editor – somebody who can publish and manage posts including the posts of other users.
Author – somebody who can publish and manage their own posts.
Contributor – somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them.
Subscriber – somebody who can only manage their profile. So when you assign a person to editor Role all they can do is publish and manage posts including the posts of other users.
So this is a WordPress function.See here https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
This might help tho

In reply to: [WP Event Ticketing] Setting Event DatesI had the same problem, but if you put the dates in American format of
MM/DD/YY ten it will work. And remember that the start date must be set before todays date to see it while you are testing it. When you have a future date you want the tickets to be available from, just change the start date to a date in the future and the ticket buy option will not show.

In reply to: [WP Event Ticketing] Short code doesn't resolve the pluginWhen you add the shortcode [wpeventticketing] make sure you are in the Text Tab of your Page or Post editor and not the Visual Tab.
When using the visual tab, anything you type in there is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).
The Text tab is where any and all code would go.Try that
