So i got it to work part way but when the page is scrolled all the way to the top the logo gets sucked in by the sticky header, and gets cut off, any way around that?

Also when I try to implement a new script in the functions.php file, I get the wordpress white screen of death error.

have you just tried clearing your browsers cache? I know wordpress has some browser cache issues. Are you able to access by ftp?
