You would want to contact the APG SMS author, and ask them if there is a filter, to change the text message to go to the post_author not admin. All vendors are, is the author of the post, and the post is the product. So, if they can do that, you’re good to go!

It’ll probably be a giant pain in the ass. You’ll have duplicate products all over your website, one for each vendor that copies the admins products. Can it be done? Yes. Will it require some work? Yes. How much? That’s up to you and your custom PHP developer. ?? Not a simple half hour task, but not going to take weeks or anything like that.

It’s not possible, unless you hired a third party (not us! :)) PHP developer to code that for you.

Sure, vendors could upload “lots of crap” to your website. Of course, this is why you can auto approve vendors products, or manually approve them, too. You have total control over your website. ??

It’s not a feature of WC Vendors to only give vendors select products to sell, but you could probably achieve this with custom code from a PHP developer.

Out of 15,000 active installs, never heard anyone being able to set numbers instead of the vendors user_login, or shop name, though. It makes me think that if you are seeing numbers (the user_ID?) then there’s something wrong with your WordPress, WooCommerce, or webserver setup somewhere or another plugin interfering. There are no settings to show by vendor user ID. Not sure how you even got that done.

To change the vendor display name you’d go to:

/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc_prd_vendor

….and select it from “Vendor Display Name:” and set it to User Login.

Does the vendor have any products for sale and customers who have bought them? If yes, are the orders processing or completed?

A white screen generally means internal server error (500). Can you check your websites error_log file for any errors? Your webhosting company can show you where it is if you dont know the location….

That gateway will work to collect money from customers using Stripe, but it does not have the capabilities to *pay* vendors commissions instantly. The wcvendors.com > our plugins > stripe would be the only version that has the code for that built into it. If you dont have the desire to pay vendors using Stripe, then any stripe gateway would work just fine.

Six or eight new support threads in a matter of 5 minutes from one individual *is* a bit much. ?? Easier to answer everything in one topic, because www.remarpro.com doesnt let us reply as fast. It tells us “Slow down, you move to fast” and we have to wait a minute before the next reply. Just unnecessary time sink is all.

With WC Vendors, of course, vendors can sell stuff. That’s the whole point of the plugin. ?? As for “trading” — If you want someone to say “I will give you X if you give me Y”, then that’s something you would have WooCommerce do, not WC Vendors, as that’s likely a WooCommerce third party plugin to support a “trading” product of some sort. Not sure if any exist like that, wouldnt surprise me if it did already of course.
