Sounds good JDoe……. Thanks ??
Hi JDoe, thanks for trying out WC Vendors. I’m sure we’ll be able to help with whatever problem this is.
WC Vendors doesnt have any redirects. However, it does require Permalinks to be enabled.
Try this:
1.) Open your Permalinks (wp-admin / Settings / Permalinks) and for Common Settings try “Date and name” (or any of them, really). Then under “Product permalink base” set it to “Shop Base with category”.
2.) Activate WC Vendors
3.) In wp-admin / WooCommerce / WC Vendors / Vendor shop page — make sure this is set to something you like, such as “vendors” without the quotes.
4.) In wp-admin / WooCommerce / WC Vendors / Pages — make sure the Vendor Dashboard is set to the vendor dashboard page.
5.) In wp-admin / WooCommerce / Settings / Products — make sure the Product Archive / Shop Page is set to “Shop”
6.) in wp-admin / WooCommerce / Settings / Accounts — make sure the My Account page is set to “Dashboard”.
If that doesnt work, please open a new thread with details on https://www.wcvendors.com in the Help forum!
Regards,
Ben

Please head to wcvendors.com for future support requests. ?? We see them instantly there, and get notifications for each one! Here on www.remarpro.com’s support system, we have to look for them manually. Much faster @ wcvendors.com!
To answer your question, to change the slug for vendor pages, go to WooCommerce / WC Vendors / General. At the bottom you will see Vendor Shop Slug. Change it to “vendor” without the quotes, and click save! Then your vendors page will be cahoot.bm/vendor/amurray59

Ben
Lenin2ud — This would be a fantastic question for https://www.wcvendors.com in the Help Section! ??
Thanks for the review! Those links are indeed visible on the Vendor Dashboard, of course, that’s the only place. We’ll get those added to the documentation to make them easier to find as the administrator. Thanks for the suggestion!

The “WooCommerce / Settings / Products / For “Shop Page Display” change that to “Show Products”.” fix is whats needed to make it work.
WC Vendors hooks into the product archives to show vendor pages. So your /shop/ URL will have to show products, not categories.
Usually a store wouldn’t use /shop/ send their customers to their store. They’d use a widget on a homepage, or some other design aspect to show categories, featured products, products on sale, etc…. Just sending traffic to /shop/ isn’t recommended as you cant really customize it once you get your store online.

Ben
WooCommerce / Settings / Products / For “Shop Page Display” change that to “Show Products”.
That setting will fix the issue.
Are all of the shop settings filled in for the user “ocean”?
Is the user “ocean” assigned as a “Vendor” as their role when you edit the user in wp-admin?
Thanks, glad your enjoying it!
What happens if you save your Permalinks? (wp-admin / Settings / Permalinks / Save)?
