In reply to: [WP Bannerize Pro] GEO-targeting not workingThis one seems to be free
a few others with free and paid options, for smaller sites the free option is better than the current IPstack free service.
Free plans
https://ipapi.co/#pricing – 1000 per day or 30,000pm
https://ipgeolocation.io/pricing.html – 1000 per day or 30,000pmsome ideas at least ??

In reply to: [WP Bannerize Pro] GEO-targeting not workingThank you – this is working, I think the account limits with their service will limit the usability on larger sites with a lot of traffic, but it is at least working again ??
Thank you

I am in the UK and see the output of all these shortcodes. I have added a new code for London as per below. You can check the link.

thank you very much!
I have used this feature for around 2 years, so have some experience with it, the short answer is – yes.
However, we focus on 6 main markets, GBP is the base currency which makes up 70% of sales the rest is split between:
– EUR
– USD
– CAD
– AUD
– NZD
– BRLDoes this mean that I have to create a Group for every country that I want to provide a price for?
The only reason we supply pricing in these currencies is due to the need to control the cost of pricing within those territories.
So groups, are mainly focused on these currencies – my advance, pick the biggest market for your products and start there, this will also normally tie in with Google PPC i.e you need to supply feeds in those currencies.
For all other countries, your base currency will be displayed.

In reply to: [WP Bannerize Pro] GeotargetingUnfortunately not, I have had to abandon the use of the plugin. I will probably implement another solution at a later date, this plugin as the potential to be really great with a few amendments.

In reply to: [Redirection] Page Load time increased (domain)Thank you for the suggestion, I will dig more into that, I culled around 24k of them based on the hit rates, and will keep an eye on the 404, there are many, but some we can afford to lose.

In reply to: [Redirection] Page Load time increased (domain)It is a lot I know, we have moved ecommerce site and the previous site had some really bad ways of producing links:
– multilang
– mobile version
– other versionsa single product page for example could have as many as 10 or more individual URLs, the easiest way to preserve the SEO for these was to just regex the unique code at the end of the url. I will try to reduce them until the new site structure is properly crawled we are sort of stuck with using redirects, it adds a hell of a lot of time 3-4 sec on the domain load – which is completely unacceptable.

In reply to: [Booster for WooCommerce] Useless unless you upgrade to premiumIt’s a free plugin, you are able to trial the features before committing – which you don’t get to do with premium plugins on marketplaces. Go buy the premium if you need more (I have, because I did), invest in what you need.
It is shocking how entitled you are coming off right now – maybe check yourself before attacking developers for not meeting your (unfounded) expectations.

In reply to: [Booster for WooCommerce] What cookies are setHey RokasJ
I have enabled that setting and will monitor it – thank you.
I did some further testing and noticed that the “EU” country code was in my Euro currency group. I have removed it and it seems to allow switching correctly when testing with the currency switcher on the site.
Hopefully this will help.
A quick general question, I have been using Booster for a while and ben doing a lot of configuration to my server to try and get it running faster. Have you any general tips – seems the more modules that are running the longer the backend takes to respond, I know this is mainly due to the options update that runs – but any suggestions would be very helpful.
We are using a 32gb 8 core server on Digital Ocean.

In reply to: [Booster for WooCommerce] PDF Images Not showingHi Rokasj
YOu might be correct about the permissions, I am building on a test server, it is a clone of the site, however I tried on the live site to see if it would work and thumbnail came through ok.
I also resolved the other issues
[wcj_order_customer_meta] was looking at the users profile, however we assigned the key value to the user as an admin, thus the user did not have permissions to use the file, and so the PDF was generated without the image.
We can’t relax this restriction, but I have found a solution – it is specific to our site so won’t post here.
