In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateesmi,
I agree, it is getting silly. Here is the style sheet that is running:

To the best of my knowledge it is exactly what you gave me.

In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateesmi,
My site right now is not using the child theme, that is correct. When I activate the child theme this is what I get:

In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateThis is going back to the parent theme????
/*
Theme Name: twentyten-child
Template: twentyten
*/@import url(“twentyten/style.css”);
#site title {background:url(images/logo4.jpg) no-repeat;}
#site title span{

In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateI have downloaded the basic child theme as recommended and added the following code as recommended:
#site-title {background:url(images/Logo4.jpg) no-repeat;}
#site-title span {
display:block;
position:absolute;
top:-9999px;
left:-9999px;
}
but I still get the TwentyTen default logo type, not my custom logo (Logo4). HELP! Please.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateJust to re-cover the basics. The Child folder contains the css style sheet as per the examples provided here and a folder named “images” in which resides 1 file named logo4.jpg. Is there anything else I can try that will get that file into the child theme to replace the standard logo type the is included with Twenty Ten? Anything at all?
Thanks,

@import url(../twentyten/style.css);
site-title {background:url(images/logo4.jpg) no-repeat;}
#site-title span {
display:block;
possition:absolute;
top:-9999px;
left:-9999px

In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateI have “activated” the child theme:
Current Theme
Twenty Ten Child 1.0I activated the parent theme then reactivated the child theme just to make certain. As you can see above, the current theme is the child.

In reply to: Custom logo for Twenty Ten templateI downloaded the basic Twenty Ten child them then encoded it as per your instructions:
[CSS moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please just post a link to your site.]
The new, custom logo (logo4.jpg) does not appear. The standard logo font that comes with the theme appears.
Any additional help?
Thanks for all the contributions so far.
