The error that I could see was “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 (Service Unavailable)” on my site.

the host provider are not blocking any WP updates

Immediately there is nothing to suggest that, purely visually, in addition, I have not noticed anything strange (besides the updates).
How do I check to see if my site has been hacked?

WPML is not actively missing an update. But if I update it manually, will my current settings be overwritten?
